Campaign Executive
(Part-time - 3 days a week)
What will you be doing as an OWN Campaign Executive?
​
1) Support the OWN Campaign manager by:
‣ Liaising with external vendors and suppliers for making and collecting the OWN collaterals
‣ Maintaining inventory and good condition of OWN exhibits and collaterals
​
2) Execute the OWN public roadshows by:
‣ Coordinating with venue partners to conduct recce, site visits and finalise outreach roadshow schedule
‣ Transporting, setting up and tearing down exhibits for roadshows as per schedule
‣ Raising the much needed public awareness at the roadshows/events
​
3) Assist with the OWN Volunteer programme by:
‣ Engaging with OWN volunteers to establish rosters for events
‣ Supporting the OWN campaign manager in volunteer recruitment and training
‣ Assisting with maintaining the OWN Volunteer database
​
4) Engage the public through OWN campaign by:
‣ Holding respectful conversations on coexistence with Singapore’s native wildlife
‣ Delivering educational talks/sharing to children and adults where necessary
‣ Staying up to date with local efforts in coexistence and animal protection efforts

Who do we need you to be?
​
Please see our introductory section for what is expected of all ACRES staff here. In addition, we need someone who is:
​
✔ Able to work three days a week including weekend days (when there is a roadshow/event), with at least two days to work from the office. (Please note that there will be weekends with no events).
✔ Excellent in nurturing positive relationships with vendors, volunteers, OWN members/partners, colleagues and others.
✔ Able to communicate in a pleasant, confident and assertive manner in English (written and verbal)
✔ A safe driver with class-3A driving licence (Requirement to drive our auto van for roadshows)
✔ Flexible and able to adapt as much as possible to changes in schedules from third-party partners.
✔ Reliable with a positive attitude and demeanour, capable of facilitating, engaging and listening actively to foster respectful conversations with the general public, striving for win-win solutions as much as possible.
✔ Knowledge of local wildlife and related issues is an advantage.
